About The

Pastry Chef

In 1997, Regina had no baking ambitions and huge brand ideas but was a bored stay-at-home wife and mom of one with a box of cake mix in the pantry. “A year into motherhood, I was over the new mommy phase and praying daily, “God, please, I need more than bottles, diapers, and dishes to do…I need something for me”. So one day, she grabbed this lonely box of cake mix in the cabinet, prepared it, having never really baked anything in her entire life. She threw together what she thought MIGHT make icing, and to her surprise, it tasted just like a wedding cake. So Regina began experimenting with flavors, baking every day and giving it away. Although she didn’t charge, people began to pay her for cakes. She realized that people valued what she baked and the taste of her cakes made people smile. After much convincing from her husband, within a month, the boredom had disappeared and the path to what’s now known as “Sweets By Regina” began. That was 26 years ago.

The drive and passion of Sweets By Regina have really come from those who work hard and are too busy and tired to bake, unlike our grand and great-grandmothers, whose home-baked goodies we valued so dearly. Our goal has been to keep that good ole homemade taste while throwing in a little modern flare. “We have over time diligently perfected taste and quality, consistently updating what we specialize in - sweets that taste good.”

Sweets By Regina is now in its biggest expansion phase to date, with food industry contracts and business and baking mentorships lined up for women ages 16-50 from all over the world. They are striving to not only grow and make people happy with their sweets but to be one of the biggest community contributors financially and show others that you can take what you have in your hand and do something with it.

“This business is not only a dream come true, but ‘the blessing’ and I am so grateful for it”.
